How does a Totshots Photography sitting work?

First of all, you need to drop in at the studio or call us on 01254 882694 to arrange your free sitting.

The photo session will take place in our studio and will take up to 40 minutes.

We will take photos of your child playing and acting naturally, as well as getting a few portraits. If you have a baby, we will use a simple white background to lay your baby on.

Around 3-4 weeks after the photo session, you make an appointment to return to the studio to collect your completed Totshots package. You can also view the other images taken during the session.
We promise never to hassle you with a 'hard sell' - we believe that if you like the photos you will buy them, and we never pressurise you into buying anything.

How to Love a Child
Give your presence, laugh, dance and sing together.
Listen from a heart space, encourage, understand.
Allow them to love themselves, ask their opinions.
Learn from them, say YES as often as possible.
Say NO when necessary, honour their No's.
Apologize, touch gently, build lots of blanket forts.
Open up, fly kites together.
Lighten up, believe in the possibilities.
Read books out loud, create a circle of quiet.
Teach feelings, share your dreams, walk in the rain.
Celebrate mistakes, admit yours.
Frame their artwork, stay up late together.
Eliminate comparison, delight in silliness.
Handle with Care, protect them, cherish their innocence.
Giggle, speak kindly, go swimming, splash.
Let them help, let them cry, don't hide your tears.
Brag about them, answer their questions.
Let them go when it is time.
Let them come back.
Show compassion, bend to speak to the wee ones
Smile, even when your tired, surprise them.
Don't judge their friends out loud,
Give them room to make decisions, even the little ones.
Love all that they do.
Honor their Differences,
Respect them.
Remember ...they have not been on this earth all that long.
Remember ... They learn what they see and hear.
Remember their love is...UNCONDITIONAL.

If children live with criticism, they learn to condemn

If children live with hostility, they learn to fight

If children live with fear, they learn to be apprehensive

If children live with poverty, they learn to feel sorry for themselves

If children live with ridicule, they learn to feel shy

If children live with jealousy, they learn to feel envy

If children live with shame, they learn to feel guilty

If children live with encouragement, they learn confidence

If children live with tolerance, they learn patience

If children live with praise, they learn appreciation

If children live with acceptance, they learn to love

If children live with approval, they learn to like themselves

If children live with recognition, they learn it is good to have a goal

If children live with sharing, they learn generosity

If children live with honesty, they learn truthfulness

If children live with fairness, they learn justice

If children live with kindness and consideration, they learn respect

If children live with security, they learn to have faith in themselves and in those about them

If children live with friendliness, they learn the world is a nice place in which to live
